Angela has over 20 years of expertise in healthcare marketing and communications strategies that engage the healthcare consumer and support the patient. Angela has driven results in brand creation and evolution, consumer engagement, patient acquisition and retention strategies, and integration of marketing initiatives across complex, matrix healthcare organizations at the local, regional, and enterprise levels. She has held leadership roles in some of the largest healthcare organizations, with marketing and communications responsibilities for over 75 hospitals across 36 markets.
Before joining Paladina Health, Angela served as National Strategic Marketing Head for Tenet Healthcare Corporation based in Dallas, Texas. Her scope of responsibility spanned all hospital and corporate strategic marketing management for the $19.2B healthcare organization with 68 hospitals and 470 outpatient centers in 47 states. She implemented marketing and lead generation best practices for priority service lines across 30 markets. Prior to this position, Angela served as Tenet’s Chief Marketing Executive for the Central Division’s 28 acute care medical centers in Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Illinois and Pennsylvania. In this capacity, she managed a team of marketing professionals who oversaw all aspects of consumer engagement strategy and execution, digital advertising, CRM/marketing automation, content marketing, media relations, social media strategy, and website management. Angela spearheaded the brand development and marketing function integration across all entities.
Angela’s previous experience includes serving as the Vice President of Marketing, Communications, Planning & Business Development for Chesapeake Regional HealthcareinVirginia; Vice President of Marketing and Communications for HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division hospitals and marketing and communications leadership roles with Houston Methodist and The American Cancer Society.
Angela earned a BA from Emory University and an MA in public administration from the University of Houston.
