About me

Sarah Keihany, FNP-C, MSN, MPH, BSN, RN earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) in 2015 from the highly ranked nursing program at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. Born and raised in the South, her clinical rotations afforded her the opportunity to provide care for people throughout Georgia, and also in locations like Haiti, Eleuthera, and Hawaii.

After completing her MSN, Sarah moved to Long Beach, California, and began her career as a family nurse practitioner at a federally qualified health center where she cared for the underserved population in Long Beach for four years.

Working for Paladina Health allows Sarah to continue to focus on quality care, instead of fixating on the quantity of patients she sees. A keen listener, she focuses on gathering the information she needs to obtain the right answers without jumping to conclusions or making assumptions about a patient’s condition. Her goal is for patients to leave her office feeling that they were heard and, most of all, trusting in their shared plan to obtain positive health outcomes.

When she’s not in the office, you can find the BBQ-loving nurse paddle boarding, kickboxing, practicing yoga, traveling, watching movies, hiking, or playing tour guide for trips with family and friends. She’s also on the hunt for a decent BBQ spot in California. If you have a tip, send it her way.
